Tax season is around the corner! Join us this Friday, November 18th to learn more about our Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program! VITA offers free tax help to people who need assistance in preparing their tax returns who do not have the resources to do so. It is a great way to give back to the community and gain valuable experience! If you have already applied, this meeting is mandatory to become part of the program. Our vice presidents will be going over the certification process, training, and the structure of the program. Currently we are still looking for more officers, so please apply if you are interested. Looking for a way to reach 150 credits? Hunter College offers a Master’s Program in Accounting that would be a great way to fulfill that requirement for those pursuing the CPA! We will be joined by Professor Christine Tan, faculty and advisor of the program, to go over the application process and what the program’s curriculum has to offer.
