Memberships

To become an active member of ASHC, the following requirements must be met:
- Fill out the monthly attendance form (at the end of each month).
- Required to attend at least 4 events per semester.
- Participate in Club Committees (list in the next section below).
- Being part of the VITA Program (Volunteer Income Tax Assistant, limited to Spring Term Only).

External Committee

Responsible for recruitment and direct correspondence with guest speakers through all phases of event planning

Internal Committee (Not Effective Since Pandemic)

Responsible for event setup and cleanup on the day of the event

Tutoring Committee

Provide peer-tutoring to students in the Accounting program

Social Media Committee

Responsible for maintenance of the Accounting Society website and social media platforms

Marketing Committee

Responsible for creation and distribution of ASHC flyers and monthly newsletters

VITA Committee (Spring Only)

Students in the Accounting Society will be helping with questions about courses and which class to take for CPA, or any academic questions.
We will be hosting in-person events with firms and online events! Keep a watch!
Each member can only join 1 committee ( VITA doesn’t count )
